About Me

After retiring from the Marine Corps in 2012, Amy had a heartfelt desire to help others. Following a deep curiosity for psychology and behavior, Amy pursued her interests earning her B.A. in Psychology from Brandman University and her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. 

Amy is an interactive, integrative therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. Amy is also fully trained in Eye Movement Desensetization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapeutic technique primarily used in the treatment trauma. EMDR therapy has also been proven to be effective in the treatment of grief, phobias, addiction, pain, stress reduction, performance anxiety, and more.
